Marc Jacobs Unveils Final Chapter of 'Season of Joy' at Art Basel Miami | Art Meets Fashion (2026)

Get ready to be swept away, fashion lovers! Marc Jacobs is bringing his 'Season of Joy' to the vibrant heart of Miami during Art Basel. This isn't just a launch; it's a full-blown experience, transforming Miami Beach into a creative wonderland. But what exactly is in store? Let's dive in!

Starting Wednesday, the brand will host a week-long immersive program. This initiative is all about celebrating self-expression, collaboration, and the exciting intersection of art and fashion. Think of it as a playground for the creative soul.

From Wednesday to Sunday, guests will step into a world crafted with contemporary artists David Shrigley, Derrick Adams, and Hattie Stewart. The highlight? A private celebration at the Botanical Garden where Jacobs will unveil a limited-edition Daisy Murakami fragrance collection. This collection blends the classic Daisy scent with Takashi Murakami’s signature vibrant flowers. The colorful collection features four unique scents, each designed to evoke optimism, joy, and charm, and priced at $137 each.

But that's not all! There will be a live art activation with Converse, allowing guests to customize sneakers through on-site stenciling. Also, a Moleskine customization cart will offer complimentary personalized notebooks created in collaboration with each artist, and a Bookmarc signing with Adams.

Adams shared his excitement, stating that “Joy is more than a collection — it’s an invitation to celebrate creativity, self-expression and connection.” He further explains that the project allowed him to reimagine some of the brand’s most well-known pieces in a way that reflects his own vision, emphasizing the energy, color, and the way it brings people together.

Besides the Botanical Garden, the activations will also take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center Grand Ballroom.

Since its introduction in September, 'Joy' has evolved into a multi-chapter narrative, each brought to life through the distinct perspectives of the featured artists. Limited-edition artist capsules reimagine iconic Marc Jacobs pieces. These include The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, The Mini Bag, and various ready-to-wear styles, all transformed into vibrant, wearable expressions of each artist’s unique vision of Joy. The 55 limited-edition styles retailed from $65 to $325.

And this is just the latest chapter! Before Miami, Jacobs took over the windows of Paris’ Galeries Lafayette for a month, starting October 16th, to celebrate the pop-up for his artist-led capsule collection 'Joy.' Through October 31st, another iteration of Marc Jacobs’ season of “Joy” unfolded with the Joy Soda Shop at The Standard in New York, an immersive, limited-time pop-up experience in New York City.
